Birthdays are celebrated in second grade with a Birthday Reader! At the beginning of each month, I will send home a letter asking you to sign up for a day/time to come in and read to our class in honor of your child's birthday. We will sing to your child and he/she will wear a birthday crayon and get to choose a special birthday pencil. Please note that due to updated food policies, no birthday treats will be allowed. As a second grade policy, we also do not allow goodie bags. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
